About the Integrated PCVE Local Supplier Development and ECOPRO Circular Economy Community Empowerment Program
The major objective of the Integrated PCVE Local Supplier Development and ECOPRO Circular Economy Community Empowerment Program is to ensure local community members are adequately enabled and strategically positioned to benefit from economic opportunities around them. In the long run, the program desires to see improved and mutually fulfilling community – investor relations and coexistence, achieved as a result of shared economic benefits and development interests. Ultimately this should feed into global effort made towards addressing economic push pull factors that continue to expose marginalised communities to conflicts and acts of violence, owing to exclusion from perceived community economic rights. A peaceful environment is the number one factor required for businesses to grow, thrive and prosper. Where there is no peace, there will be no business investments and development projects taking place. Likewise communities depend so much on business investments to create wage employment and supply chain opportunities, through which community members can generate income to meet day to day basic needs, eradicate poverty and raise their living standards. Most importantly all these benefits cannot be sustained unless we proactively work together to protect, enrich and sustainably utilise our natural resources in a manner that guarantees environmental conservation and adoption of climate smart business ventures. Towards this end, Ummah Initiative Group, working in partnership with Base Titanium and through the Virtual Resource Center and Business Hub (VIREC), is pleased to introduce to the global community, the Integrated PCVE Local Supplier Development and ECOPRO Circular Economy Community Empowerment Program.
